Kaia Gerber had a unique childhood growing up with supermodel Cindy Crawford for a mother.

During her youth, there were often nude photos of her mother throughout the house and the Palm Royale star recently talked about exactly how felt seeing those growing up.

“They were, to me, artistic,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in a new interview. “It wasn’t vulgar; it wasn’t objectification.”

Actually, Kaia, 24, says that it was “a gift to grow up in a house that was without shame for the female body.”

She and her brother Presley Walker, 26, are the only children of Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber.

Kaia also talked about how her brother has a different perspective on their childhood.

“It’s so interesting to articulate your own childhood, because I have a brother who’s two years older, and our memories are completely contradictory, which is really fascinating and I think has taught me so much about how multiple realities can exist at once,” she explained.
