A spokesperson for the 55-year-old Sherlock actor confirmed the news to The Sun, which reports that the couple quietly tied the knot earlier this year after six years together.

The news follows their appearance together at the BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday (October 14), where Martin was promoting his new movie A Long Winter.
