The trailer for John Cena‘s new movie has been released!

The 49-year-old actor stars alongside Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, Teyonah Parris, Randeep Hooda, Danai Gurira, Corey Stoll, Bill Camp, and Golshifteh Farahani in the new Apple TV movie, Matchbox The Movie, inspired by the iconic Mattel toys.

Matchbox The Movie is an action-packed, globetrotting adventure about a group of friends since childhood who have their lives upended when undercover CIA agent Sean (Cena), their long-absent former leader, returns to their small town and unwittingly gets them embroiled in a frantic international pursuit to save the world.

The trailer debuted during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 25).

Earlier this week, a new trailer for Coyote vs Acme, which John stars in alongside Will Forte and Lana Condor, was released.

Matchbox The Movie will be released on October 9, 2026.
