Melissa Gilbert has shared a new message after husband Timothy Busfield‘s big victory in court.

On Friday (October 16), a judge in New Mexico dismissed the 69-year-old actor/director’s indictment on child sexual abuse charges.

District Court Judge Joseph Montano granted Timothy‘s motion to throw out the grand jury indictment, claiming that prosecutors misrepresented the admissibility of lie detector evidence to the grand jury, according to TMZ. Judge Montano also said that the state did not call certain witnesses after the grand jury asked to hear from them.

Shortly after the judge made his ruling, the 62-year-old Little House on the Prairie actress took to Instagram to share a quote seemingly in response to the news.

“So shines a good deed in a weary world,” Melissa posted.

The exact quote is said by Gene Wilder near the end of 1971’s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and is one word away from a line of dialogue from William Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice spoken by Portia: “So shines a good deed in a naughty world.”

The on her Instagram Story, Melissa shared a link to The New York Times’ article about the charges against Busfield being dismissed.

Melissa has stood by Timothy‘s side and fiercely defended him ever since the child sexual abuse allegations were made public earlier this year. In a recent interview, she has called the entire experience “traumatizing.”
