This year, the Met Gala red carpet delivered a soul-stirring tribute to heritage, identity, and Black sartorial excellence.

The 2025 theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” centers on the evolution of Black dandyism from the 18th century to the present day. Marking a significant cultural milestone, it celebrates the contributions of Black men to the world of fashion, the exhibition aims to challenge historical biases and provide a platform for underrepresented voices.

The dress code “Tailored for You” calls for bespoke, dandy-inspired menswear–a display of history though cloth. Expect sharp suits, androgynous tuxedos, and bold redefinitions of gender norms with a touch of cultural flair—making this year’s red carpet either more subdued or more radical than ever before.

The night was off to a sharp start with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Bad Bunny, A$AP Rocky, and Shah Rukh Khan on the red carpet delivering some of the best looks for the fashion industry’s biggest night out.
