Model/Actriz, the New York–based post-punk and noise-rock band, has announced its sophomore album: Pirouette arrives May 2 via True Panther. Leading the LP is the new song “Cinderella,” which comes with a high-camp fairytale music video set in Brooklyn. Check out the visual, directed by Nathan Castiel, below.

Model/Actriz have also announced a tour in support of the new LP. Beginning on May 8, in Portland, Oregon, the route brings the band across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe for shows, including several opening gigs for Panchiko. Model/Actriz have several festival sets on the docket, too, including Outbreak and Kalorama Festival. Find their full list of tour dates below.

Pirouette is described as a somewhat pop-indebted piece of work, with vocalist Cole Haden channeling childhood heroes like Britney Spears and Mariah Carey. The follow-up to 2023’s Dogsbody was co-produced and mixed by Seth Manchester and mastered by Matt Colton, both of whom worked on Model/Actriz’s debut.
