Shailene Woodley had one of the most polarizing looks of the night at the 2026 Emmy Awards and she switched things up while attending an after party.

The actress, who won an Emmy for Paradise during the Creative Arts Emmys last week, stepped out in Balenciaga at the event on Monday night (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The look was seen on the runway during Balenciaga‘s FW26 Couture show, though it was worn with a hooded robe for the runway show. While some are fans of the fresh-off-the-runway outfit, others were not feeling it. Read comments here.

Shailene Woodley was a presenter at the Emmys

Last week, Shailene won the award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Hulu’s Paradise, after joining the thriller series in a recurring role during the second season.

This was her second Emmy nomination after previously being up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for Big Little Lies season one back in 2017.

Shailene Woodley changed for the after party

After the Emmys, Shailene went to the Walt Disney Company’s Emmy Awards Celebration at Vibiana.

Shailene took off the gloves and put a t-shirt over the dress. She wore a t-shirt promoting musician Laurie Anderson‘s 1986 concert film Home of the Brave.
