Lourdes Leon is 30!

On Wednesday (October 14), Madonna took to Instagram to share a ton of throwback photos in honor of her daughter’s milestone birthday.

“Happy Birthday My Lolita!” the 68-year-old Grammy winner began. “You came to me in a Dream. A fever dream. A Dream called Life. If I tried to write it all down, I would cry a river of tears.”

The “Vogue” singer then went on to recall the day Lourdes was born.

“Your chin was tilted up in my birth canal, you were looking for the stars you were stuck,” Madonna wrote. “After 18 hours of labor and your heartbeat slowing down, an emergency C-section was the only option. Did I mention the helicopters and news crews swirling above our heads on the top floor of the hospital in East LA? You’re birth was dramatic. Like our lives.”

“Our connection – it is Biblical,” she continued. “When I ask God to explain it to me, he tells me- Look in the mirror! We are Two side sides of the same coin. If what we risk reveals what we value then I would risk it all on you.”

“Never forget who you are. Little Star, shining brighter than all the stars in the sky,” Madonna concluded. “Never forget how to Dream Butterfly. Never forget where you come from. From Love.”

Madonna welcomed Lourdes with her then-boyfriend, fitness trainer Carlos Leon on October 14, 1996.

Madonna is also mom to son Rocco Ritchie, 26, whom she shares with ex-husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie. She is also mom to son David Banda, 21, daughter Mercy James, 20, and 14-year-old twin daughters Stella and Estere.

Earlier this year, Madonna released an emotional new song with Lourdes about the past issues in their relationship.
