Queen Latifah Denies Online Death Hoax, Says She's '100% A-OK'

Queen Latifah is letting everyone know that she is alive and well.

Recently, the 55-year-old actress and rapper, whose real name is Dana Owens, faced viral death hoax rumors online.

In a new video shared on Instagram on Thursday (March 5), Queen Latifah shut down the rumors and told her followers that she’s perfectly fine.

“Can’t believe what you read on the internet or see,” she added. “Can’t believe nothin’ now, right? I’m good. Peace.”

Sporting an olive-green hoodie and sitting in her car, Queen Latifah smiled, blew kisses at the camera, and threw up the peace sign before ending the video.

After sharing the post confirming that she is indeed alive, fans took to the comments to react to the death hoax.

“Idk what was said but keep her name out yalls mouth!!! Leave this Queen BE!” one person wrote as another added, “Wait a minute! Who we need to fight?! Did they try to off the QUEEN?!?!”
